Banaue Adventure Tours, Batad Rice Terraces: Philippines Travel Diary

Our 2-day journey (Day 32-34) in Sagada and Buscalan was extraordinary. We saw the hanging coffins, and took spectacular shots of the Cordillera mountains. Our short stay in Buscalan spoiled us with the village people’s hospitality and rich culture, aside from the great-tasting coffee served in the morning. Our trip was made more special because we came face to face with Whang- Od, the oldest and the last mambabatok (tattoo artist) of the Butbut tribe.
